Rachel works with schools and educational consultants to expand our Teaching is Learning programme; developing pedagogical content to support the IRIS Connect community. She is a qualified teacher and has been working in education for nearly 20 years. Her recent Masters dissertation focused on initial teacher training which led to her interest in supporting teacher development. Rachel divides her time between IRIS Connect and working at the University of Brighton as a tutor, supporting trainee teachers whilst they are on school placements. When she's not researching teaching developments, she can usually be found up a mountain or by the sea; climbing, mountaineering, skiing or photographing.
